The Beehive is both a stunning piece of art as well as an immaculately detailed topographical relief map of the State of Utah. It is the culmination of state of the art technology as well as traditional woodworking methods. We built The Beehive out of a deep love and appreciation of Utah's beauty with the intention of bringing it home.
Standing 22" tall and 19" wide The Beehive is built to compliment and punctuate, but not dominate a room. 3 inches of depth provide stunning contrast and depth of detail leaving Mount Timpanogos (3800 ft) standing 1 centimeter tall and King's Peak (4000 ft) standing 1/2 an inch tall. The sharpness of its peaks and valleys invite the eye deeper into its details and their accuracy withstands long study.
Carved from birch hardwood and finished in urethane, The Beehive was built to be both observed and touched and its scale allows both.

Lead time is currently two weeks. Shipping is via USPS within 3-5 business days from date of shipment. Other shipping options are available when you checkout.
Mounting
The piece mounts easily and securely to a wall using an aluminum french cleat. All hardware, screws and drywall anchors are included. We install by request, please add a note to your order and we will get in touch.
